Mark of the Beast

Details

He causeth all to receive a mark in their right hand or forehead; no man might buy or sell without the mark.

A¹⁶nd he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

¹⁷ And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Revelation 13 describes a mark that everyone will be required to receive in order to buy or sell.

It is connected to the worship of the beast and stands in direct contrast to the seal of God on His servants.

This is one of the most well-known and sobering symbols of the final conflict between Christ and Antichrist.
