What Does Ephesians 6:11 Mean?

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

What It Means

This verse is a call to intentionally "suit up" each day with God's spiritual resources-like truth, faith, righteousness, and prayer-so you're ready to resist the devil's sneaky lies, temptations, and discouragements instead of getting knocked down by them. It's not about fighting in your own power but leaning on what God supplies to stay steady when life (or the enemy) tries to trip you up. Practically, it means starting your mornings with Scripture or honest prayer so that when stress, doubt, or bad habits show up, you have real strength to stand firm and keep living with peace and purpose.
