What Does Lamentations 3:22 Mean?
22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
What It Means
This verse is saying that the only reason we’re not completely wiped out by our mistakes, pain, or life’s hardships is because of God’s steady kindness and compassion. His mercy doesn’t run out or get exhausted, even on our worst days.
It matters for daily life because it gives real hope when you feel like you’ve blown it or can’t keep going-reminding you that God’s care is still there, ready to help you start fresh and keep moving forward with a little more peace.
