13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
What It Means
Jesus is declaring that He has always existed and will always exist, holding everything together from the very start of time to its final conclusion. This means He is fully in charge of history and every part of our personal stories too. In daily life it brings real comfort when things feel uncertain or overwhelming, because we can trust that the One who sees the whole picture is walking with us right now and will bring everything to a good end.
