The Frog
Frogs were the second plague on Egypt. When Pharaoh refused to let Israel go, the river brought forth frogs 'abundantly,' and they filled houses, bedchambers, ovens and kneading troughs. Pharaoh's magicians could bring up frogs too, but Pharaoh still had to beg Moses to pray them away, and when the frogs died they were gathered in heaps until 'the land stank.' The plague showed the LORD's power over the river Egypt depended on. In Revelation three unclean spirits 'like frogs' come out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet.
