Caregiver Burnout
Caring for a sick spouse, aging parent, or disabled child is a genuine calling, but sustained caregiving can hollow a person out with exhaustion, guilt, and grief for a life put on hold. Scripture makes room for rest and shared burdens even in the middle of faithful service - caregiving well includes caring for yourself, not as a luxury but as a necessity.
