Stress is not a sin. It is the body's response to pressure. Jesus was under immense pressure in Gethsemane. The difference is what we do with the pressure.
Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Not because there is no burden, but because He carries it with us. We are yoked together with the One who gives rest.
The invitation is to come to Jesus when we are weary and heavy laden. He does not add to our load. He gives rest for our souls. That rest is the only sustainable answer to chronic stress.
