Philip Caught Away
Philip had just baptized an Ethiopian official by the roadside when the Spirit of the Lord suddenly caught him away. He was next found miles off at Azotus.
Sent by an angel to the desert road from Jerusalem to Gaza, Philip met an Ethiopian eunuch reading Isaiah in his chariot and preached Jesus to him. When they came to some water, the eunuch asked what hindered him from being baptized, and Philip baptized him. As they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more, and the eunuch went on his way rejoicing. Philip was found at Azotus, and he preached in all the cities along the way until he came to Caesarea.
