Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
Two blind men followed Jesus crying, 'Thou son of David, have mercy on us.' He asked if they believed he could do it, touched their eyes, and they could see.
As Jesus departed from the ruler's house where he had raised a young girl to life, two blind men followed him, crying, 'Thou son of David, have mercy on us.' When he came into the house, they came to him, and Jesus asked whether they believed he was able to do this. They answered, 'Yea, Lord.' He touched their eyes and said, 'According to your faith be it unto you,' and their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly charged them to tell no one, but they went out and spread his fame throughout all that country. Their cry of 'son of David' shows they recognized him as the promised Messiah.
