Water from the Jawbone at Lehi
Fresh from a great victory, Samson was dying of thirst. He called on the LORD, and God split open a hollow place and brought out water to revive him.
At Lehi the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon Samson, his bonds fell away, and with the fresh jawbone of an ass he slew a thousand Philistines. Afterward he was sore athirst and called on the LORD, asking whether, after so great a deliverance, he must now die of thirst and fall into the hands of his enemies. God clave a hollow place that was in the jaw, and water came out. When Samson drank, his spirit came again and he revived. He named the spring Enhakkore, which the text says was still in Lehi in the writer's day.
