Immanuel
Immanuel (ืขึดืึธึผื ืึผืึตื) means 'God With Us,' first given in Isaiah 7:14 as a sign that a virgin would bear a son. The Hebrew combines 'immanu' (with us) and 'El' (God), expressing the truth that the transcendent Creator would dwell among His people. Matthew 1:22-23 identifies Jesus' birth as fulfillment. This name reveals the incarnation โ God entered human experience to reconcile us to Himself.

Did You Know?
Immanuel means "God with us." The name was given to the child born of the virgin in Isaiah 7. The promise that seemed impossible became the central miracle of the Christian faith.
The incarnation is the ultimate answer to the question "Where is God when it hurts?" He is with us. Not above us, not around us, but with us in the flesh.
The name Immanuel is not a slogan. It is a Person. Jesus is God with us in the manger, on the cross, in the tomb, and on the throne. He will never leave us or forsake us.
