The Mustard Seed
Jesus used the tiny mustard seed to teach great truths about the kingdom of God and about faith. Though it is the least of seeds, it grows into a tree where birds nest - a picture of the kingdom's small beginnings and vast growth. And faith 'as a grain of mustard seed,' Jesus said, could move mountains. Great things grow from small, living beginnings.
