The Upper Room Discourse

Illustration of The Upper Room Discourse

On the night before his crucifixion, after washing the disciples' feet, Jesus gave his intimate farewell teaching. He comforted their troubled hearts with the promise of a place in the Father's house, revealed himself as the way, the truth, and the life, promised the coming of the Holy Spirit, taught them to abide in him as branches in the vine, and prayed his great high-priestly prayer.
