What Does Galatians 2:20 Mean?

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

What It Means

When you trust in Jesus, your old self-centered way of living is put to death with Him on the cross, so you're no longer running life on your own power. Instead, Jesus now lives in you, and each day becomes an opportunity to rely on His love and strength-because He gave Himself for you personally.

This matters for daily life because it shifts you from striving or feeling like a failure to walking in quiet dependence on Him, bringing real freedom, purpose, and peace whether you're handling stress, relationships, or ordinary routines.
