What Does Galatians 6:2 Mean?
2 Bear ye one anotherโs burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
What It Means
This verse encourages us to step in and help lighten each other's loads, whether through emotional support, practical help like errands or meals, or simply listening when someone is overwhelmed. Doing so follows Jesus' core teaching to love one another as He loved us. In daily life it matters because we all face hard seasons, and showing up for each other creates real connection, reduces isolation, and lets God's care show up through ordinary kindness.
