What Does John 10:10 Mean?
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
What It Means
In plain terms, Jesus is contrasting the enemy-who only shows up to rob you, hurt you, and tear things down-with Himself, who came to give you real, full life that overflows with purpose and good.
This matters daily because it helps you recognize what drains or destroys you (fear, lies, bad habits) and instead choose what Jesus offers: peace in stress, hope when things feel empty, and strength to live generously and joyfully right where you are.
