Jesus is telling his followers that some things, like truly changing a heart or finding eternal life, are completely beyond human effort or ability. On our own we hit limits we cannot cross, but God has the power to do what seems impossible.

This matters every day because it invites us to stop relying only on our own strength when we face big struggles, like breaking a habit, healing a relationship, or finding hope in a tough situation. Instead we can pray and trust God to work where we cannot, bringing peace and real change one step at a time.
