Enos

Portrait of Enos

Enos was the son of Seth and grandson of Adam, third in the genealogical line from Adam to Noah recorded in Genesis 5. Genesis notes that it was in the days of Enos that men began to call upon the name of the LORD (Genesis 4:26), marking one of Scripture's earliest references to public worship. He lived 905 years, fathered Cainan, and had other sons and daughters.
