I am losing my faith and deconstructing - what do I do with my doubts

Doubt is not the opposite of faith - unbelief that refuses to seek is. ' and Jesus answered with evidence and then publicly honored him (Matthew 11:2-11).

So bring the questions INTO the light rather than letting them fester in isolation: name them specifically (many 'faith' crises are really grief, church hurt, or exhaustion wearing a philosophy costume - see the entry on being hurt by the church), test what you are deconstructing (sometimes what collapses is a distortion of Christianity that deserved to collapse, while Christ himself remains - Hebrews 12:27), and keep seeking honestly, because the promise is for seekers: 'ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart' (Jeremiah 29:13). Read the Gospels themselves again slowly - let Jesus make his own case.

Find believers who can hear hard questions without panicking (Jude 1:22 - 'of some have compassion, making a difference'). And give it time: faith rebuilt through honest questioning often ends up far sturdier than the hand-me-down version it replaced.
