What Does Acts 17:28 Mean?
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
What It Means
This verse reminds us that God is the source of everything we do-our breathing, moving, thinking, and simply existing each day. We belong to Him like children to a parent, fully dependent on His life flowing through us rather than running on our own power.
In daily life it brings steady comfort, helping us turn to Him for strength in ordinary moments like work stress or worry, while also encouraging us to treat others with genuine care as fellow members of His family.
