What Does Genesis 2:18 Mean?
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
What It Means
God saw that the first man should not stay by himself, so He chose to create a companion perfectly suited to share life with him as a partner and helper. This verse shows that people are made for real connection rather than living alone. In everyday life it reminds us to nurture healthy relationships with a spouse, family, or friends, because reaching out and building those bonds brings the support and joy God intended.
