What Does Genesis 3:15 Mean?
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
What It Means
God is telling the serpent that there will always be conflict between evil and people, but one of the woman's descendants will ultimately crush Satan's power while suffering a wound in the process. This points to Jesus, who defeats the enemy through His life, death, and resurrection even though Satan caused Him pain. In daily life it gives real hope when facing temptation or hardship, reminding you that the fight is already won and you can keep choosing what is right with God's help.
