What Does John 14:26 Mean?

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

What It Means

Jesus promises that after he returns to the Father, God will send the Holy Spirit to live with his followers. The Spirit will actively teach them what they need to know and gently bring Jesus' words back to mind right when they need them most.

This matters because it means you are never left to figure out life or faith on your own. In everyday moments like facing a hard decision, feeling anxious, or trying to respond with patience, the Spirit offers practical help by reminding you of truth and guiding you step by step.
