What Does John 16:13 Mean?
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
What It Means
The Holy Spirit will lead you step by step into understanding God's truth. He speaks only what He receives from the Father and will also give you insight about what lies ahead.
This promise matters because you do not have to figure out life, decisions, or confusing situations on your own. You can quietly ask the Spirit for guidance each day and trust that He will bring clarity, wisdom, and peace right when you need it.
