Blessing vs. Curse
A blessing is God's favor spoken or given, bringing life, fruitfulness, and prosperity; a curse is the opposite - God's judgment spoken over sin, bringing consequence, barrenness, or separation. Deuteronomy 28 presents them as two clear, opposite paths tied to obedience.

Blessings and Curses
Deuteronomy 28:1-21 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Opens the great blessings-and-curses chapter tying both directly to obedience.
Christ Redeemed Us From the Curse
Galatians 3:13-1413 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Christ absorbs the curse so that the blessing can flow to believers instead.
