What Does Isaiah 40:31 Mean?

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

What It Means

This verse promises that when you actively trust God and rely on Him instead of pushing through life in your own strength, He renews your energy from the inside out. The picture of soaring like eagles, running without tiring, and walking without quitting shows God giving you fresh endurance for both the exciting seasons and the ordinary, steady ones.

It matters for daily life because exhaustion, stress, and burnout are so common-leaning on God through prayer, His Word, and surrender keeps you going with real resilience instead of running on empty.
