Are lucky numbers, luck, and superstition real
The Bible does not teach that numbers or objects carry luck; it teaches that God alone governs outcomes: 'the lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD' (Proverbs 16:33), and 'a man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps' (Proverbs 16:9). Scripture repeatedly warns against turning to omens, charms, or superstitious practices instead of God: 'Ye shall not use enchantment, nor observe times' (Leviticus 19:26), and 'let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee' (Isaiah 47:13) mocks the idea that such things can control your future.
For the believer, blessing does not come from lucky numbers or objects but from God: 'every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights' (James 1:17). Superstition ultimately trades trust in a personal God for trust in impersonal signs - Scripture invites you to bring your hopes and needs directly to him instead (Philippians 4:6).
