What Does Isaiah 30:15 Mean?
15 For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
What It Means
God is telling His people that real safety comes from turning back to Him and resting in His care, while true strength flows from staying calm and trusting Him instead of rushing around in fear. The verse ends on a sad note because they refused this simple way and tried to handle things their own way. For us today it means slowing down to pray and trust God when life feels overwhelming, which brings steadier peace and wiser choices in our daily routines.
