What Does Isaiah 54:10 Mean?
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
What It Means
God is saying that even if the most solid parts of creation like mountains and hills were to vanish, his kindness and promise of peace would still remain firmly in place for his people. This shows that his love and commitment are more dependable than anything we see around us. In daily life it brings comfort when everything feels uncertain, reminding you to rest in his steady mercy instead of worrying about shifting circumstances.
