Tarot cards and fortune telling
Scripture forbids seeking hidden knowledge of the future through divination of any kind: 'There shall not be found among you any one... that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch...
for all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD' (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). ' (Isaiah 8:19), and promises, 'if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally' (James 1:5).
Even when the motive seems harmless - curiosity, guidance, fun - the practice still looks to a source other than God for answers he alone holds ('secret things belong unto the LORD our God,' Deuteronomy 29:29). If you have been involved in this, there is no need for shame; simply bring it honestly to God, who forgives freely (1 John 1:9), and choose to seek him directly going forward.
